The President of the United States today issued an Executive Order Regarding the Ocean Policy to Advance the Economic, Security, and Environmental Interests of the United States. The Executive Order promotes improved public access to marine data and information, interagency coordination, and engagement with marine industries, the science and technology community, and other ocean stakeholders. It also revokes the National Ocean Policy Executive Order issued in July 2010.
