Mid-Atlantic RPB Releases “Brief Overview of the Mid-Atlantic Ocean”

As part of its effort to develop a Regional Ocean Assessment, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body today released a “Brief Overview of the Mid-Atlantic Ocean: Characteristics, Trends, and Challenges.”  The white paper was developed by the RPB’s Regional Ocean Assessment Work Group and is intended to stimulate discussion within the RPB.

The Mid-Atlantic RPB was formally established in April 2013 and is tasked under the National Ocean Policy Executive Order with developing a coastal and marine spatial plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
