The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body today announced the release of a summary and transcripts (Day 1 and Day 2) from its meeting held in New York, NY on Jan. 21-22, 2015.
During the meeting, the RPB approved its approach for a Mid-Atlantic regional ocean plan, discussed refinements to workflows, spoke about progress with the development of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Assessment, and discussed draft actions to include in the regional plan.
The Mid-Atlantic RPB was formally established in April 2013 and is tasked under the National Ocean Policy Executive Order with developing a coastal and marine spatial plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
