Bloomberg BNA: White House Releases Oceans Plan To Streamline Coastal, Marine Permitting
The White House released a draft implementation plan Jan. 12 that would establish nine regional committees by 2015 to develop plans for streamlining the permitting processes for use of marine and land areas along the nation’s oceans and Great Lakes. The plan contains dozens of milestones dealing with coastal wetlands, water quality, invasive species, climate change, and hypoxia for various agencies.
