The State Dept. today announced that the Shipping Coordinating Committee will hold a public teleconference meeting on Thursday, Sept. 30 in preparation for the 104th session of the International Maritime Organization’s Maritime Safety Committee, to be held remotely on Oct. 4-8. Agenda items include measures to enhance maritime security and formal safety assessment.
