The National Ocean Policy Coalition today submitted comments to the Interior Department’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) on the Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for Gulf of America oil and natural gas lease sales.
To help ensure that the Gulf of America region and the nation continue to benefit from the economic and environmental contributions associated with robust Gulf of America lease sales, NOPC urged BOEM to adopt the Proposed Action and reject its Preferred Alternative.
