The National Ocean Policy Coalition today formally requested that the Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body suspend the comment period on the Draft Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Action Plan until such time as all relevant information necessary to provide informed comments is publicly available, and to then subsequently re-release the draft plan and related materials for 90 days of public comment.
The Mid-Atlantic RPB was formally established in April 2013 and is tasked under the National Ocean Policy Executive Order with developing a coastal and marine spatial plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
