The National Ocean Policy Coalition today formally requested that the Northeast Regional Planning Body suspend the comment period on the draft Northeast regional ocean plan until such time as all relevant information necessary to provide informed comments is publicly available, and to then subsequently re-release the draft plan and related materials for 90 days of public comment.
Established in 2012 pursuant to the National Ocean Policy Executive Order, the Northeast RPB was formed to develop a coastal and marine plan for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
