National Ocean Policy Coalition: Testimony at U.S. House Full Committee Oversight Hearing

On Tuesday, October 4, the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources held an oversight hearing on “The President’s New National Ocean Policy – A Plan for Further Restrictions on Ocean, Coastal and Inland Activities.”  Jack Coleman, Co-Managing Director of the National Ocean Policy Coalition, appeared on NOPC’s behalf to share concerns about the Obama administration’s development and implementation of the National Ocean Policy thus far.

Other witnesses who appeared before the Committee to testify included representatives from the At-Sea Processors Association, National Association of Home Builders, and U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  The hearing can be viewed in its entirety by clicking here.
