The National Ocean Policy Coalition today transmitted a letter to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body (RPB) co-leads following the RPB’s inaugural in-person meeting in September.
The correspondence addresses the RPB’s development of user group engagement mechanisms, goals and principles, data and information sources, timelines, and a charter.
The Mid-Atlantic RPB was formally established in April 2013 pursuant to the National Ocean Policy Executive Order, which tasks the RPB with developing a coastal and marine spatial plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
