MARAD Extends Open Season for Marine Highway Applications

The Maritime Administration today announced the extension of the open season for Marine Highway Project Designation submissions through Sept. 30, 2025.

During open season, interested parties are invited to submit applications proposing to operate or expand service on Designated Marine Highway Routes to the Department of Transportation for review and consideration, mitigate landside congestion, or promote marine highway transportation.
