USCG Seeks Comments on Update to Consolidated Port Approaches PARS

The Coast Guard today announced that it is seeking comments by Thursday, June 8 on an update to the Consolidated Port Approaches Port Access Route Studies (CPAPARS) that corrects graphical errors, amends certain recommended fairways, and provides additional explanation of the recommendations.

CPAPARS, which was initiated to supplement the Atlantic Coast Port Access Route Study by focusing on port approaches and international entry and departure areas along the Atlantic Coast, summarizes findings of regional port access route studies of the Northern New York Bight, Seacoast of New Jersey including offshore approaches to the Delaware Bay, DE, approaches to the Chesapeake Bay, VA, and the Seacoast of North Carolina.
