NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service today announced that the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council’s Habitat Protection and Ecosystem-Based Management Advisory Panel will hold a public webinar meeting on Nov. 3-4.
Among other things, the Panel will hear a presentation from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management on offshore wind in the South Atlantic region and provide input on activities, receive an update on essential fish habitat consultation on wind, ports, and mitigation banking, and receive an update on mapping of the Wilmington-East Wind Area from NOAA’s National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science.
