NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research today announced that the National Sea Grant Advisory Board is seeking will hold a public virtual meeting on Nov 4-5 and is seeking nominations from individuals interested in serving on the Board.
In addition to a public comment session, the agenda includes updates from the National Sea Grant Office, Sea Grant Association, NOAA, and Resilience and Social Justice Subcommittee, environmental literacy and workforce development efforts, Sea Grant education, and a panel on diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
The Board is the National Sea Grant College Program’s Federal Advisory Committee and advises NOAA and the National Sea Grant College Program on strategies to address the nation’s highest priorities in terms of the understanding, assessment, development, management utilization, and conservation of ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources.
