NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service today announced that the New England Fishery Management Council will hold a virtual public meeting Dec. 1-3.
The meeting agenda will include final reports from the Northeast Regional Ocean Council and Responsible Offshore Development Alliance on their collaborative effort to update commercial fisheries data on the Northeast Ocean Data Portal, review and approval of completed habitat policies for aquaculture and submarine cables, updates on offshore energy and habitat-related work, and regional aquaculture activities and the federal Aquaculture Opportunity Area effort.
