Due to the global pandemic, the United Nations today announced the decision by the United Nations General Assembly to postpone the 2020 United Nations Ocean Conference that had been scheduled to take place on June 2-6 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The notice stated that Conference co-hosts Kenya and Portugal will consult with the General Assembly to decide on possible future dates for the conference, including timelines for the preparatory process.
