The Northeast Regional Planning Body today announced the availability of an agenda for a May 25, 2016 webinar (12:00 – 2:00 pm EST) to unveil the draft Northeast regional ocean plan, as well as a series of 9 public meetings to be held in June that will include public comment opportunities. The webinar will include RPB member perspectives and facilitated Q&A/comments.
The meetings will take place in Rockland, ME (June 6), Old Lyme, CT (June 8), Gloucester, MA (June 13, tentative), Boston, MA (June 14), New Bedford, MA (June 15), Ellsworth, ME (June 20), Portsmouth, NH (June 27), Rhode Island (June 29, location TBD), and Maine (June 30, location TBD).
Established in 2012 pursuant to the National Ocean Policy Executive Order, the Northeast RPB was formed to develop a coastal and marine plan for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
