The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body today announced that it is seeking comments on the following documents by Thursday, Nov. 20: Regional Ocean Action Plan Options, Status of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Assessment, and Mid-Atlantic RPB Interim Plan for Stakeholder Engagement.
In conjunction with the request for comments, the RPB announced that it will hold a public webinar on Oct. 29 to discuss the draft documents, followed by its next formal in-person meeting at the Jacob K. Javits Federal Building in New York, NY on Jan. 21-22, 2015. The RPB also announced that the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean will host five public listening sessions throughout the region in November.
The Mid-Atlantic RPB was formally established in April 2013 and is tasked under the National Ocean Policy Executive Order with developing a coastal and marine spatial plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
