The Northeast Regional Planning Body today announced that it is seeking comments on options for Northeast ocean plan actions under their “Healthy Ocean and Coastal Ecosystems” and “Effective Decision Making” goals. Comments are specifically sought on a “Summary of Options” document, which is based on background reports on the goals for Healthy Ocean and Coastal Ecosystems and Effective Decision Making.
In addition to accepting written comments, the RPB is accepting comments at five public meetings being held throughout the region in October, as well as at a day-long regional forum being held at the University of New Hampshire on Oct. 21.
Established in 2012 pursuant to the National Ocean Policy Executive Order, the Northeast RPB was formed to develop a coastal and marine plan for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
