July 3, 2013–The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body, formally established in April 2013 and tasked under the National Ocean Policy with developing a Coastal and Marine Spatial Plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, announced today that it will hold a public webinar from 10:00 a.m. EST – 3:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
According to the announcement, the Regional Planning Body will provide an update about its progress and plans going forward, as well as future opportunities for public input. The announcement adds that input received during the webinar will help the Regional Planning Body plan for an inaugural, in-person public meeting in the fall of 2013.
