The Northeast Regional Planning Body convened in Providence, Rhode Island for its second meeting on April 11-12, 2013. This body is comprised of federal, state, and tribal officials and is tasked by the National Ocean Policy Executive Order with establishing a Coastal and Marine Spatial Plan for coastal and marine areas in and offshore Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
