Governors Express Concerns About National Ocean Policy: Letter to President Obama
In a letter sent to President Obama regarding the current state of domestic offshore energy development, the Outer Continental Shelf Governors Coalition–comprised of the Governors of Alabama, Alaska, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia–communicated its concerns about potential unintended consequences resulting from the new National Ocean Policy and the role of states in the policy so far.
