Mid-Atlantic Stakeholder Liaison Cmte. to Hold Nov. 20 Public Meeting

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean’s Stakeholder Liaison Committee, established in 2014 to provide input on ocean planning to MARCO, which in turn relays information to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body (RPB), will hold an in-person meeting in Annapolis, MD on Friday, Nov. 20 (9:00 am – 12:30 pm Eastern).  The meeting will also be accessible by webinar.

According to the agenda, the purpose of the meeting is to share reflections about regional ocean planning activities and discuss intersections and shared interests across sectors, as well as to provide ideas for how MARCO can stimulate stakeholder interest in reviewing the Mid-Atlantic draft ocean plan and its components in 2016.

The Mid-Atlantic RPB was formally established in April 2013 and is tasked under the National Ocean Policy Executive Order with developing a coastal and marine spatial plan for Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
